The cumulative frequency or cumulative frequency distribution shows, for each class, the total number of observations in all classes up to and including that class. The graph of cumulative frequency is distribution curve, or ogive. For example: 10 students received following grades from last test: 1, 2, 4, 1, 5, 2, 5, 3, 1, 5. This can be represented by this ogive: See also: relative frequency, Cite this article as: Marian Olejar, Jr.: cumulative frequency from VeryPrime's Dictionary of mathematics Link to this page: http://www.veryprime.com/dict/cumulative_frequency.php |
